Kyle’s dissertation contributes to a study published in BioControl Journal

Our Plant Health Coordinator has contributed to a study published this month (April, 2018) in a leading scientific journal.

Kyle Ross studied for his BSc in Horticulture at Worcester University in 2015 and contributed to a study aimed to improve biocontrol of black vine weevil.
 


Growth in demand for specimen shrubs

We have seen a growth in sales of our range of specimen shrubs and we have increased our own production by 300% in the past three years (April, 2018).

We’ve created additional bed space on our nursery for specimen shrubs and have extended the range recently to include several native hedging varieties to keep up with demand.
 


We’ve just had our highest sales week in history

We’re celebrating this week after announcing our highest sales week (March 12 until 18, 2018) ever.

Our Plant Heath Coordinator, Kyle Ross, has created an information pack on biosecurity to help address the recent concerns related to the topic within the industry (March, 2018).


We’re celebrating two award wins!

We’re celebrating this month (March, 2018) after winning two awards from two garden centre groups we supply plants to.

We were awarded Plant Supplier of the Year 2017 from Klondyke Group and also the Most Innovative Plant Supplier Award from Wyevale Garden Centres, which is a separate company under different ownership to us.
