Caroline Tatham to host talk at our Open Day

THE FOUNDER and Principal at the Cotswold Gardening School has been announced as one of our guest speakers at our Open Day being held this month (June, 2016).

Caroline Tatham will be hosting a talk entitled ‘From Wyevale to Highgrove’ on Thursday, June 30.
 


Garden designer Kate Durr guest speaker at our Open Day

A ROYAL Horticultural Society (RHS) gold medal winning garden designer and TV presenter will be the guest speaker at our Open Day next month (June, 2016).

Kate Durr will be hosting a talk at the Open Day on Thursday, June 30 entitled ‘Winning with Wyevale’ all about using our plants in her RHS Malvern show garden in 2015.


Nicholas wins our Peter Williamson Travel Award

NICHOLAS Russell from Pershore College has recently (May, 2016) been presented with our Peter Williamson Travel Award.

The 25-year-old, who is in his second year of a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horticulture, scooped the accolade after wowing the judges with a written submission and an interview.
 


We’ve donated a rare tree to the famous Eastnor Castle

A CASTLE in Herefordshire owned by the Hervey-Bathurst family has recently (April, 2016) received a tree donation from us.

We have given Eastnor Castle, which is located at the foot of the Malvern Hills, a rare native tree called the Whitty Pear or Sorb Tree also known as the ‘True Service Tree’, Sorbus domestica.
