Search is on for partners to develop new plants

We’re currently looking for partners to develop new plants and formats with. Our ‘door is always open’ to plant producers who have found something special.

Adam Dunnett, our Sales and Marketing Director, explained: “We have specialist growers and now a dedicated plant development programme headed up by Ben Gregory, our Product Development Coordinator.
 


The Laskett Gardens

We were invited last Thursday (July 9, 2015) by Sir Roy Strong to visit The Laskett Gardens in Much Birch, Herefordshire.

Sir Roy gave a talk at our nursery open day last July and we were delighted to visit his stunning gardens in return. The Laskett Gardens are one of the largest private formal gardens to be created in England since 1945.
 


We re-open our Management Trainee Programme

We’re delighted to announce that this month (July, 2015) we have re-opened our Management Trainee Programme.

The two year, in-house programme covers all areas of the business and we are calling for people to apply for a position.
 


DIFM trend means launch of new garden designers’ dept

IN RESPONSE to a new trend towards ‘Do It For Me’ and a move away from DIY we have launched a new Garden Design & Domestic Landscape sales department (July,
2015).

The trend for DIFM will see a bigger demand for garden designers and landscapers and we are creating a department especially for their needs. 
 


Staff receive long service medals

Some of our staff members were recently (June, 2015) presented with medals by the Three Counties Agricultural Society to honour their long service to us.
Director’s Secretary, Ros Cowley, Workshop Manager, John Light and Sales Manager, Adrian Hoare all received bronze medals for 30 years continuous service.
