TWENTY Beaver Scouts from Hereford are this month (March, 2015) well on their way to achieving their Global Challenge Badge thanks to a donation from a plant nursery in the city.
ADRIAN Hoare from Dilwyn in Herefordshire has this month (March, 2015) been promoted to Garden Design & Domestic Landscape Sales Manager at Wyevale Nurseries in Hereford.
The 50-year-old will be able to give guidance to customers on plant selection, sourcing product and finding solutions to fill the most challenging landscape designs.
CUSTOMERS and suppliers of Earlswood Plants in Solihull are being assured that there will be a seamless transfer of business when the firm goes into dormancy this month (January, 2015).
The retail plant side of the business will be taken on by the White family, who will sell plants to the general public through Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre, and the wholesale cash and carry will be transferred to Wyevale Nurseries.
ONE OF the UK’s leading nurseries has this month (November, 2014) unveiled its first Landscape & Amenity Catalogue in 17 years.
Wyevale Nurseries’ new 169 page catalogue lists more than 2,500 lines and all the plants listed in the catalogue are all grown by the company.
Adam Dunnett, Sales and Marketing Director at Wyevale Nurseries, which is based in Hereford, explained: “We are one of the UK’s largest amenity growers, something we are very proud of, but with our tree, transplant and container grown plant nurseries all being separate up until this year, we have struggled to get the message out about our incredibly wide range of plants.
