We’re celebrating today (September 11, 2018) after our new plant Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’ won a New Product award at GLEE.
We will be entering two new plants into the New Product Showcase at the UK’s leading garden and outdoor living tradeshow.
We have submitted Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’ and Salvia ‘Kisses & Wishes’ to the Plant, Seed & Bulb category at Glee, which runs from September 10-12 at the NEC in Birmingham.
We’re pleased to announce that we will be introducing recyclable plant pots for all our retail plants so that they can be recycled kerbside by consumers (September, 2018).
In 2019 we will be replacing our black plastic pots for taupe coloured pots, which will be supplied by Aeroplas in the West Midlands, to fight the war on plastic.
We would like to thank our customers who helped us select four new plants to go into full scale production from our Taster Menu concept we launched last year (2017).
We’re calling for people to apply for our two-year Horticultural Apprenticeship, which will start in September 2018.
Andy Johnson, our Managing Director, said: “This September will be our fifth intake of two new candidates to the current apprenticeship scheme, which is part of a specifically designed National Apprenticeship Programme for the Midland Regional Growers (MRG) in conjunction with Pershore College.
