We have put together a selection of new plants this month (December, 2018) to follow the predicted trends for the retail sector next year.
Bold colours look set to be key for 2019, so our new plants for retailers in 2019 include the colourful Agapanthus ‘Fireworks’, Cordyline ‘Electric Pink’ and Penstemon ‘Purple Perfection’.
Colin Stanley, our Retail Sales Manager, has selected five plants, which he thinks really show how we’re at the forefront of new and innovative varieties and that display the diversity of our extensive range.
We would like to say well done to our Despatch & Stock Controller, Sara Bowie, who took part in a sleep out in Bristol last Thursday (November 15, 2018) and helped raise £3,500 for a homeless charity.
ONE OF THE UK’s leading commercial nurseries has this month (November, 2018) unveiled its new amenity crop range for 2020.
The trend for mobile gardens is set to continue as figures reveal home ownership among 25-34-year-olds is decreasing with more young people renting instead.
The English Housing Survey Headline Report 2016-17 found that 46% of 25-34-year-olds now live in private rentals, compared with 27% in 2006-07.
