Alice in Wonderland garden gets our help
Posted by Luke. May. 7 2015 in PR Stories.

We’re delighted to have helped James and Lorna Davies from Environmental LandCare in Chepstow with their display garden at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival this weekend.

Congratulations to them as they were given a Silver award for their garden.

The theme for the garden was ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and we provided a broad mix of vibrant herbaceous plants in combination with ferns, alliums and the black grass Ophiopogon Nigrescens.
Celebrating the literary creation of Alice 150 years ago, this garden depicts a number of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland. Formal and informal planting areas show different aspects of her adventure.
The entrance to the garden, for example, presents Alice’s visit to the gardens of the Queen of Hearts. Included too, is a representation of the infamous rabbit hole through which Alice descends to begin her journey.
To one side an array of plant colour and cascading teapots depict the Mad Hatter’s tea party in an area which incorporates seating where the visitor can sit and contemplate.
The garden’s design encourages the visitor to reminisce on Alice’s adventure story.
To all those we have supplied plants to for the RHS Malvern Spring Festival this weekend – have a great time!
