Kyle Ross, our Plant Health Coordinator, had a great morning last Thursday (May 3, 2018) talking to BSc students at Pershore College in Worcestershire.
He explained to the students what it’s like to work at a commercial production nursery, about his role with us and also about Xylella.
Kyle, who is a former student at Pershore College, said: “The talk was a great success. The students were very switched on and engaged. I was speaking for an hour due to all the questions they had. It was fantastic that all the students were aware of Xylella too.
“Our aim from these talks is to inspire young people to enter the commercial production nursery industry and to give them knowledge of current hot topics such as Biosecurity. I look forward to talking to more students in the coming year.”
